What is the ACC?
- The Aspen Community Council (ACC) is the parent/teacher volunteer organization at Aspen Academy. The ACC sponsors many events, activities and fundraisers throughout the year such as school dances, book fairs, teacher appreciation events, fundraisers and more!
- The mission of the Aspen Community Council is to enrich and support the lives of children, parents and educators. We do this by providing resources, communication and encouraging involvement in the school community.
Make sure you are in the ACC directory and e-mail list. All volunteer opportunities are advertised via e-mail for those listed on the ACC Directory. If you are not in the directory (or unsure if you are listed) please send us an email to be added or fill out the Google Doc. Please include the following information in your e-mail: Parent name(s), Student name(s), Grade of student(s), email, address, phone number.
2016/2017 Monthly ACC Meetings
Second Tuesday of each month from 4:00-5:00 p.m.
(Sept. 13, Oct. 11, Nov. 8, Dec. 13, Jan. 10, Feb. 14, March 14, April 11, May 9) Classroom TBD
All parents are welcome to attend ACC meetings. Typically meetings are about an hour in length and they generally include a welcome, update from committees, and information/planning for upcoming events and activities. Students are welcome to wait quietly in a nearby room/hallway and read, do homework, bring activities etc.
