Educational History: I earned my BS in Elementary Education from Saint Cloud State University and my MA in Teaching & Learning from Saint Mary's University.

Why I chose to work at Aspen: Aspen Academy is known for being dedicated in preparing students to be life long learners. It is a privilege to help students while they build their own love for learning.

Hobbies/Interests: I love spending time with my family and friends. This summer we've been having so much fun planning our wedding! My fiancĂ© and I enjoy watching the Vikings and Timberwolves. I also enjoy baking, dancing, hiking, traveling, and being creative. Most of our travels send us to Arizona so we can visit my future brother and sister in laws and nephews. I can't wait to officially be an aunt!

Favorite author/historical figure: I have so many favorite authors. One book that I have always read to students is Thank you, Mr. Falker by Patricia Polacco. I just love her books, because she writes about her own personal experiences. I feel that students can form connections and relate to her books.

Personal motto/inspirational quote: This is one of my favorite Kid President quotes that I share with students. "Sure, there's bad stuff in the world, but there's also you. You can be anything that you want today, so be bold, be kind, be awesome." - Kid President
